🎥 ABOUT THE MOVIE |
Set in a squatter settlement on the banks of the Khudi River, Pension Patta follows the emotional journey of a mother, Chhalu, and her son, Rajan, as they struggle to survive after the untimely death of Rajan’s father, Ganga Bahadur.
Crushed by debt and uncertain about their future, Chhalu and Rajan place their hopes in a pension certificate that could change their lives. However, when their application is rejected because the name on the certificate does not match Chhalu’s identity, Rajan begins a journey to uncover the truth behind the pension record.
Along the way, he encounters hardship, greed, compassion, and unexpected kindness. These experiences gradually transform him from a selfish, materialistic young man into a generous and compassionate person.
Pension Patta is a heartfelt story of family, identity, redemption, and the transformative power of humanity.
